MATERIAL CONSISTING OF 100% RECYCLED PLASTIC FOR FIM – FREEFORM INJECTION MOULDING
We have now manufactured a product line which has been tested to be a particularly suitable material for Freeform Injection Moulding (FIM) of recycled plastic of such high quality that users achieve a homogeneous end product that is not only high but also uniform in quality – every time you use material from us.
Freeform Injection Moulding is a merger of two platforms that were previously apart. 3D printing was the choice of prototypes, low cost, short delivery time and freedom to design. Injection moulding was the manufacturer’s choice with superior scalability and resulting low unit cost.
FIM can best be described as a kind of hybrid of the two – having the best of both worlds. FIM enables the injection mould to develop/change designs without having to invest in moulds before final approval. A great means of testing prototypes in the right material at a reasonable price.

AddiFab develops 3D printers and software for companies working with castings. The company’s flagship – Freeform Injection Moulding (FIM) – is a piece of technology for 3D printing of moulds in plastic. www.addifab.com
FIM – the raw materials from AVL can be bought both as pellets and granules – entirely in 100% recycled plastic and all FIM material comes with a data sheet, with very precise instructions on the materials’ properties. All types are tested and approved by AddiFab.
