We have one of the broadest and best documented product ranges in plastic granules, grinders and powder – all based on recycled plastic.
Our focus is on recycling plastic and with more than 40 years’ experience, no task is too small or too large. So, if you have plastic waste or want to use recycled plastic in your production processes, we are always ready to talk about the recycling opportunities for different types of plastic.
We have everything, from the most common types such as PE, PP, PS and ABS, to the more technical types of plastics such as PA6, PA6.6 (with and without glass) and PBT, POM and PSU and PEEK. You can see the full range of products in our standard and special programmes.
Plastic waste is an expensive resource, and at Aage Vestergaard Larsen A/S we can recycle all types of plastic. We have also developed methods to reprocess and regenerate plastics without compromising on quality.
All products are subject to extensive quality control, which is performed before, during and after the production process. The samples are archived for a minimum of 3 years.
Buy recycled plastic and help the environment!
When you purchase recycled plastic, you save the environment from CO2 emissions! More precisely, the environment is saved from 2.4 kg of CO2 emissions for every kilogram of recycled plastic used. So, help us reduce CO2 emissions by selling plastic waste or by buying recycled plastic.
Like all other industrial products, plastic is part of our impact on the environment, but it can also be part of the solution, as long as it is recycled and thus becomes part of the circular economy. Plastic has helped to extend the durability of food, and it offers many advantages over other materials. The most important aspect for the environment is perhaps that plastic materials have been a prerequisite for many technological advances that would otherwise have been impossible without plastic, including by allowing the production of lighter cars, which in turn reduces fuel consumption. Plastic materials have been particularly important for developments in the electronics industry, where computers and mobile devices cannot be manufactured without plastic components.
Like electronics, plastic must be disposed of with care and after it is manufactured, plastic must be used, recycled and re-used with care.
We must continuously work to improve our environmental efforts and the Danish Plastics Federation has formulated its own environmental policy. At AVL, we not only comply with the policy, we also strive to be among the best in the industry in terms of both environmental and energy management. You can read more about this under Environment.
From waste to recycled plastic
All manufacturing processes in industry create waste, and all products eventually become waste. For the manufacture of plastic, for example, waste plastic occurs when the products are cut to size, when errors occur or during the start-up and shut-down of machinery. At AVL, we can offer to recycle this plastic waste and return it as a new raw material. Read more about our contract work here.
