Regenerering

Regeneration is one of the most important processes at Aage Vestergaard Larsen A/S, and it is here that the plastic waste or the ground/shredded material is regenerated into new, high-quality plastic, which can either be used as a new raw material or a replacement for virgin plastic in the plastic industry. We continuously strive to ensure the highest quality in regeneration, and our granules can thereby compete on an equal footing with new raw material (virgin plastic).

In this process, the ground plastic is cleaned and mixed, additives are added and then the plastic is melted, filtered and pelletised to a new raw material.

Extrusion machine

Our 10 extrusion machines with pelleting, degassing/vacuum and filtering, guarantee great flexibility and capacity for both small and large orders, and our screws are configured and designated to different types and sizes of plastic from 85-180 mm/35-40 LD, which guarantee optimal dispersion. There is also the option to add ancillary materials as well as dyeing.

Capacity: 25 – 1,000 kg/h

Regeneration with Gneuss filter

There is huge demand to recycle the more challenging types of higher quality plastic. As a result, we have added a filter on one of our extrusion lines, which allows us to process highly polluting plastic to a greater degree than was technically feasible previously.

The Gneuss filter ensures that the contaminants are filtered out, so that the raw material/granules once again become a clean product that can be recycled again and again. See how this is done in the short film.
